We believe in transparency when it comes to your investment in financial education. This policy outlines our approach to refunds for our working capital analysis programs, helping you make informed decisions about your enrollment.
Understanding Your Rights
At Brighton App Zone, we've structured our refund policy to balance fairness with the reality of educational resource allocation. Once you enroll, we immediately grant access to proprietary materials, assign instructional resources, and reserve your spot in limited-capacity cohorts.
That said, we recognize that circumstances change. Life happens. And sometimes a program just isn't the right fit despite best intentions.
Eligibility Requirements
Refunds are considered based on specific criteria. Here's what qualifies:
Early Withdrawal
If you request a refund within 7 days of enrollment and have accessed less than 15% of course materials, you may qualify for a partial refund of 70% of tuition paid.
Program Cancellation
Should we cancel or significantly alter a program before its start date, you'll receive a full refund of all amounts paid within 14 business days.
Technical Issues
If platform problems prevent access for more than 5 consecutive business days and we cannot resolve them, partial refunds may be issued proportionally.

Submit Your Request
Email help@brightonappzone.com with your full name, enrollment date, program name, and reason for the refund request. Include any supporting documentation if relevant to your situation.
Initial Review
Our team reviews your request within 3 business days. We'll verify your enrollment details, check platform access logs, and assess eligibility based on the criteria outlined in this policy.
Decision Communication
You'll receive an email with our decision. If approved, we'll outline the refund amount and expected timeline. If denied, we'll explain why and discuss alternative options that might work better.
Payment Processing
Approved refunds are processed within 10 business days. The funds return via your original payment method, though bank processing times may add another 5-7 days depending on your financial institution.
What's Not Covered
Some situations fall outside our refund policy. These include requests made more than 14 days after enrollment, cases where more than 20% of course content has been accessed, or completion of any graded assignments or assessments.
We also can't process refunds for promotional discounts or scholarship amounts, only the actual tuition paid. And if you've received a completion certificate, that indicates successful program completion which makes you ineligible for refunds.
Common Scenarios
Personal Emergency
Tuan enrolled in our September 2025 cohort but faced a family medical situation four days later. He'd only watched the intro module. We processed a 70% refund within the week, and he appreciated the quick turnaround during a difficult time.
Job Changes
Linh accepted an unexpected position that required immediate relocation. She requested a refund on day 10 after watching three modules. While outside the 7-day window, we worked with her to transfer her enrollment to a later cohort instead.
Expectation Mismatch
Minh thought the program would cover advanced derivatives trading, but we focus on working capital fundamentals. He reached out on day 5, and we issued a partial refund after confirming minimal platform access.
Refund Payment Methods
All refunds are processed through the same method you used for payment.
Bank Transfer
Refunds to Vietnamese bank accounts typically appear within 5-7 business days after processing approval.
Credit Card
Card refunds process within 10 business days, though your bank may take an additional 3-5 days to post the credit.
Digital Wallets
MoMo, ZaloPay, and similar platforms receive refunds within 7-10 business days from approval date.
International Wire
For international students, wire transfers may take 10-15 business days depending on correspondent bank processing times.
Processing Timeframes
We try to move quickly, but realistic expectations help. Initial review happens within 3 business days of receiving your complete request. Decision communication goes out within 5 business days from that review.
Once approved, processing takes 10 business days maximum. Then add your financial institution's clearing time, which we can't control. International transactions naturally take longer due to currency conversion and multiple banking systems.
- Domestic bank transfers: 5-7 business days total
- Credit card reversals: 10-15 business days total
- Digital wallet refunds: 7-10 business days total
- International wires: 15-20 business days total
Partial Refunds Explained
Most approved refunds are partial rather than full. This reflects the immediate costs we incur upon your enrollment, including platform access provisioning, instructor allocation, and administrative processing.
The 70% refund rate for early withdrawals accounts for roughly 30% in sunk costs. We think that's fair given the resources committed, while still returning a substantial portion of your investment.
Dispute Resolution
If you disagree with a refund decision, you can request a secondary review. Email your appeal to help@brightonappzone.com with "Refund Appeal" in the subject line. Include any additional information or documentation that supports your case.
A different team member reviews appeals within 7 business days. Their decision is final under this policy, though you retain any legal rights under Vietnamese consumer protection law.
Special Circumstances
Some situations don't fit neatly into policy boxes. Serious medical emergencies, natural disasters, or other extraordinary events may warrant exceptions. We evaluate these individually and try to find reasonable solutions.
Documentation helps immensely in these cases. Medical certificates, official notices, or other supporting materials give us the context needed to make informed decisions outside standard policy parameters.
